"I really wish that this beef liver was freeze-dried instead of heated. The cows are on pasture in Argentina which is pretty good. The price reflects this. I have to take six capsules per day to meet the 3000 mg dietary goal recommended for me. This bottle will last me about a month. If you want capsules without fillers in glass bottles, New Zealand grass-fed cows and freeze-dried instead of heat-dried liver, expect to triple the price. Still, this is a good quality supplement for anyone on a budget. One is still better off consuming a slightly lesser quality beef liver supplement than nearly any multi-vitamin on the market. I would also like to see a break down of the minerals and vitamins found in 1000 mg of heat-dried, desiccated beef liver. (Sure it may vary a little from cow to cow but a rough idea would be helpful. ) I'm glad to see that batches are tested for heavy metals and contaminants. It would be nice to see that the batches are tested to see if they contain 1000 mg of beef liver per capsule too. Maybe they will find a way to use less fillers and flow agents in the future. All in all, this is a good alternative for anyone needing to add micronutrients, vitamins and protein to their diet."
