Astaxanthin is a naturally occurring red pigment in the class of compounds known as carotenoids and is found in high concentrations in algae and salmon. (Where it causes salmon’s well known pink-red color.) Astaxanthin is best known as an extremely potent antioxidant, but using it as a supplement has also been shown to support skin, gut, ocular, and immune health. Our Astaxanthin product uses the patented AstaReal raws which have had over 70 human clinical studies backing its many benefits.
