"Well, AKG is very acidic, and can wreck your gut. I started out using it and could not tolerate it. Then, I thought well if it is the acidity, why not dump the capsule into a glass and apply some baking soda water {one tsp BS to a few oz. of water}, which I do by the teaspoonful until it stops fizzing, then I know it is neutralized. Have had zero problems with it since I have done that. but, it would be nice to have an affordable Ca-AKG supplement where I didn't have to do this procedure."

"I take this with my pre workout. Combined with HMB gives a little energy for workouts. If you understand the science behind this product then I recommend it. Giving 4 stars because it took me 3 weeks to get order as the first one never arrived."

"I started taking this recently, unsure of what results I'd experience, if any, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of my sleep improved immediately! I take 2 capsules about an hour before bed, and it doesn't knock me out or make me sleepy, but I sleep better, less disturbances and waking up over the course of the night, than when I don't take it. Definitely adding this to my regular routine!"

"Been taking these for about a month. I haven't noticed any physical improvement such as more energy or better sleep because I guess it's really about 'tweaking' at the cellular level. I have developed occasional, light intestinal cramps and a couple of times even diarrhea. As a result I'll try halfing the dose. These tablets are what you might call a slow burn anyway so a tablet less each day is neither here nor there."

"I am taking the capsules but find that they are fragile, and often break open and leak their contents. This may be an interaction between the contents and the capsule materials, as I have not seen capsules breaking open on any other DW supplements. This supplement has a pungent flavor, and contaminates the bottle and my daily dose holders. I'd look into different capsulation."
